Mission & Vision

To glorify God by providing a place where individuals, families, and small groups can camp, commune with God and enjoy His presence in His creation of nature.

We do this by providing camping and retreat facilities in an environment which uses renewable energy as much as possible for its power, and teach stewardship of natural resources and respect for the gift of the earth we live in.

Amakanata also serves as the SonLight Power training facility.  We have a number of solar applications and can train those needing to learn about solar power.
