Camp Amakanata is available for individuals, families and small groups who wish to commune with God in His creation of nature. We offer a range of services; camping, swimming, fishing, leisure excursions on Brookville Lake, games, other activities such as canoeing, nature hikes, solar power workshops and tours,  BBQ dinners or outings, and campfires.

 

We do not provide programming, but encourage individuals, families or small groups to enjoy the quiet beauty of nature. The camp staff is prepared to assist you in any way to make your stay a spiritual retreat to remember. 

 
Camp Amakanata offers tent camping and cabin rental, for groups and families in prepared sites or wilderness area. Allen is able to provide lessons on solar cooking, solar photovoltaics, wind power, hydro power, and other renewable energy topics while Allen, Ann  & other friends can facilitate small group Bible studies or suggest devotional readings for quiet time retreats.

 

Hayrides and Campfires are exciting, especially when combined with S'mores and stargazing. The Milky Way is easily viewable. Fossils are plentiful.
