| Our
faith can be described as a reformed foundation with a
charismatic twist. The Apostles Creed, best verbalized by
Rich Mullins in his song
Creed, is a brief summery of the reformed (and our)
faith. We also believe: The Bible is the inspired Word of
God, inerrant in its original writing, and complete in
content and revelation (if only we would read it*); The
Church is the Body of Christ, empowered by the Holy Spirit
to do His work on earth today (if only we would listen to
it). Our
God, an
Awsome God, is not only the God of Abraham, Isaac and
Jacob, but also the God of Roy, Clarence, Betty, Miranda,
Pat, and Maria, today. God is sovereign but we do not
believe he predestined anyone to Hell and calls all men to a
saving relationship with Him. We are saved by faith in Jesus
Christ, His atonement for our sins on the cross, and the
following resurrection (very important). We (all of us) are
undeserving of that gift and without His grace would be
lost. We also believe that a relationship with the living
and active God is the most exciting thing that can happen to
man and generates a burning desire to share that faith, next
door, around the block, and across the ocean.
